Shift Pattern - Three shift (Mornings, afternoons, and nights)
ATA Recruitment is currently working with one of the largest providers of automated material handling systems in the world. The company turns over more than £1 billion worldwide and over £50 million in the UK alone. They are currently employing around 200 staff and growing.
The company designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of machinery including cranes, conveyor systems, shuttle systems and robots. The site in Solihull is a brand new state of the art facility which opened earlier this year employing a team of 11 engineers. They are due to open a second site in Castle Bromwich in the coming months.

The role of Maintenance Team leader will involve:
70% hands on work whilst also controlling the work of 2-3 maintenance engineers on shift.
The planned and reactive maintenance and service of 10 mini load cranes, 2 de-palletising robots, a shuttle system, 20m cranes and a huge amount of conveyors.
70% Mechanical and 30% electrical work on a day to day basis.
Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings and pulleys.
Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilising electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
Driving the team to look at repetitive faults and get to the root cause of issues.
Working in an extremely large and fast paced environment as the site will be moving up to 1,600 totes per hour at its peak.
To be successful as a Maintenance Team leader you will need:
An electrical qualification. (ONC, HNC, HND, NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds)
Experience in an automated environment - distribution, automotive, food/beverage production or automated warehousing to name a few.
Comfortable working at heights on 20m high cranes.
Happy to work a 3 shift pattern. (Mornings, Afternoons and Nights)
Confident, outgoing individual who is happy to liaise technically with individuals at all levels.
