Our Client is a well-established contractor working predominately in South West London. Largely working on residential projects, they are known for their high quality of work and client focused approach. Typical projects range from small bathroom / kitchen upgrading works to the refurbishment and extension of houses. Having successfully worked through the economic decline, they are now in a period of growth. They are looking for an experienced project / construction manager to join their team. Responsibility for project managing the major projects within the business. You will need to have estimating experience for small/medium sized building projects.
Supporting and overseeing the small projects run by individual site managers.
Commercial control, management and reporting of each project.
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and other external companies.
Client liaison from initial contact to project completion.
Responsibility for delivering projects on time and within budget.
Champion of the high quality product to be delivered.
Ensuring projects meet statutory health and safety obligations and the company's requirements. Commitment to being part of the team and working towards the development of the business.
Track record of successfully completing a variety of refurbishment and new build projects.
Excellent organisational and project/ construction management skills.
Proactive and a good communicator.
Ability to work under pressure.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
A network of construction related contacts would be an advantage.

£40-£45k (subject to experience)
