My client is looking to take on a RICS qualified rural surveyor to join their Shrewsbury office. The successful candidate will take on a varied role in an expanding office in Shrewsbury where they will be assisting the Managing Partner with a wide range of professional NA firm has a strong reputation both locally and regionally for providing high quality professional advice with particular expertise in commercial development and valuations.

The role will include but not be limited to:
Areas of professional work will include providing professional advice to both landlords and tenants, estate management and assisting the Managing Partner with arbitrations and dispute resolution.
Valuations of a broad range of properties; these will largely be related to the rural environment (e.g. farms and equestrian) but may include residential and commercial elements
Identifying new business opportunities and promoting the brand throughout the region.
Attending internal meetings and also meetings with clients.
Fee earning - maximise fee income whilst retaining job profitability.
Supporting delivery of the business plan including delivery of agreed targets.
Managing and developing client relationships (new and existing)
Assisting in the delivery of agreed financial targets and being responsible for managing own performance whilst exceeding in core technical skills.
Liaising with contractors, clients and colleagues.
Proven track record within similar firms
A practical understanding of property, land, business and agriculture
Ability and confidence in dealing with clients in a professional manner
Strong IT capability
Ability to work in a team and independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
