The IT Service Operations Engineer will ensure :-
Provision of governance and control of all Service Management owned processes and corresponding tools.
Focus on Incident Management for monitoring of incident resolution activities and proactive incident analysis
Focus on Problem Management
Major Incident process reviews
Point of contact for complaints and escalation within incident management process in the UK arm of business
Steering of 3rd party providers and service review meetings with business
You will need :-
Strong diagnostic & problem solving abilities.
Risk and issue management.
Consistency around cross-Domain processes.
Drive to extend knowledge and skills.
Selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.
Willingness to travel (largely between UK & Germany).
Detailed knowledge o
Good understanding of technologies (infrastructure and software)
ITIL Process Model.
Understanding of DevOps models (beneficial)
Good knowledge of MS Office Tools.
Good knowledge of ITSM tool stack (beneficial)
Good knowledge of and intermediate experience in applying: (beneficial)
- End-to-end application operations processes.
- Asset and Configuration Management.
- Incident and Problem Management.
- Service Level or Relationship Management
- Operational management of 3rd party suppliers for fulfilling required OLAs.
- Statistical and analytical principles and processes..
- Development / refinement of relevant SOPs
