My client is looking for an Interim M&E Manager on a fixed term contract for 6 months, they are ideally looking at someone who mainly has the Gas and Oil expertise. The post is 37 hours a week and £40,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependant on experience)|
As the M&E Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the Company and Group are fully compliant with all M&E related compliancy regulations, accreditation's and best practice. You will also provide M&E support and design to the delivery of business units.
You will assist the Heads of Service and Assistant Managers to ensure that commercial and financial targets are met, providing guidance and advice when required. You will monitor and report on the progress of Gas Servicing and all M&E servicing requirements, working with managers and staff to ensure 100% compliancy. It will be your responsibility to ensure all service expectations are being delivered to our customers by attending regular review meetings and in addition ensure all work undertaken on behalf of the Company complies with current health and safety legislation and all risk management procedures are followed, and when required responding and investigating to complaints from customer and clients.
It is essential that you are educated to HNC or equivalent in a building/construction related discipline and the IOSH or equivalent, managing health and safety qualification. You will have knowledge of IEE wiring regulations (17th edition) and Gas Safety (installation and use) regulations 1998, along with significant experience of building maintenance/construction. It is essential that you have experience of monitoring and managing workforce productivity and of successfully delivering commercial objectives and targets.
If you have most of the qualifications then great but they have the skills already there for the Electrical side so is it the Gas and Oil expertise in which they have a gap.
