Administration Officer - Construction|
We are looking to recruit an Administration Officer from a Construction background for a renowned York Interiors company. This is a permanent role for the right person.
The salary for this Administration Officer post will be £20 - 22,000 depending on experience.
The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day.
The role will be office based in York with occasional site visits, so a full clean driving licence is required.
The role will involve:-
* Costing of materials from drawings & bills of quantities supplied
* Some negotiation with supply partners and sub-contractors
* expanding to developing new business and supporting ongoing projects for colleagues
Training and uspervision will be given to develop these skills.
The successful applicant will come from a construction background and will need to have the following skills:-
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* some negotiating experience
This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident from a construction background to develop their skills in the Commercial Interior Design sector with a view to becoming an estimator and buyer.
