About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
AECOM is looking for a Project Manager / Facilities Engineer
  • Follow PPMC/PMBOK standards for projects.
  • Coordinate the project with stakeholders to include distributing project related communications such as design reviews. Integrate all systems (e.g. IT, telephone, electrical, HVAC and plumbing) requirements. Obtain stakeholders' signatures and/or approvals as required.
  • Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals and construction documents.
  • Prepare and submit cost estimates for purchases and renovation services to the COTR and/or FS GPOC for approval.
  • Update project management tool throughout the project cycle.
  • Provide commissioning reports, detailed equipment/inventory list and O&M manuals on all equipment installed to Facilities GPOC at completion of each project.
  • Provide accurate as-builts/red line drawings to Facilities Manager.
  • Administer customer satisfaction survey and provide copy to the Facilities GPOC at each project completion.

Minimum Requirements
  • Two years' experience as a mechanic/operator of Commercial equipment including HVAC systems and to be capable to stand watches for any person under their supervision and to work with the tools of the operating engineer's trade.
  • Needs a basic knowledge of refrigeration, electricity, and HVAC systems and a basic knowledge of controls and chemical equipment.
  • A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Full Performance Project Manager.
  • Bachelor degree in any related field or High School Diploma/GED with five (5) years recent experience in project management.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
  • Basic understanding and familiarization with:
    • AutoCAD
    • Construction management and building codes
    • Building operations and management
    • Project management, related to facilities operations
    • General plumbing, electrical, maintenance (i.e., carpentry, painting, masonry) and other general trades.
  • General Plumbing, electrical maintenance (i.e; carpentry, painting, masonry) and other general trades.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications
  • MAXIMO experience preferred
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is desired
  • MS Project
