About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
The field of Radar field engineering support to include; troubleshooting, repair of equipment and systems at specified EW/IADS sites on FTTR.
Inoperative systems support as assigned, to include field-engineering actions necessary to return equipment/systems to operational status.
Support technical personnel in advanced troubleshooting and repair of, and sustainment of range systems.
Experience in Reverse-Engineering Radar Systems components, to have replacements built to meet form, fit, and function of the components.
Use superior communications skills, both verbal and written, in day-to-day support activities. Develop, interpret, and implement technical and administrative policies and procedures. Perform other related duties and assignments as directed.
Bachelors degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Engineering or related field or Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy "C" School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturer training.
Five years' technical experience with Tactical Training Range systems (or equivalent military systems).
Five years maintenance experience with non-simulator radar systems (i.e. military fielded systems of U.S. and foreign origin).
Nine years' experience with increasing levels of responsibility in complex electronic systems.
Troubleshoot to component level
Related experience in:
- Digital/analog signal processing
- Synchro/Resolver-servo circuits
- Radar, RF signal processing
- Electromechanical devices
- Optical equipment
- Video signal processing and recording
- Communications (multiplexer equipment, VHF, UHF, microwave, fiber-optic)
- Digital/analog computer systems
- DC power supplies; low voltage AC equipment; primary and secondary power equipment; auto-transfer (UPS) equipment; portable AC generators
- Test equipment
Operating experience with search, acquisition, ground control intercept, height finder or fire control radar systems, and familiarity with the employment of threat systems.
Experience with Electronic Design tools, such as Lab View, Multisim, AutoCAD
Ability to speak, read, and writes English.
Possess a valid state Driver's License.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Current DoD Security Clearance
