The client are a privately owned house builder, they are based in Wiltshire but their area of work is Hampshire and Dorset, they specialise in developing one off bespoke houses.|
They currently have a project consisting of 60 traditional build houses ranging from 1 - 5 bed properties. They already have a project manager overseeing that project but are also looking for an Assistant Site Manager to work alongside him there. Ideally the candidate will work there as an assistant for around 4 -5 months and then will progress to a Site Manager and will run that project as a No.1 Site Manager. Candidates must have at least 5 years experience as an Assistant Site Manager and must be based within an hour drive of Winchester. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay between £30k - £40k + package.
Working alongside the Site Manager you will be responsible for managing all trades through from the 2nd fix stage of production to handover dealing with all Customer care issues also. If you are looking to progress your career to a Site Manager then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for as all competant assistants are generally given their own site to manage within eighteen months.
You will preferably come from a trade background with experience of the above gained from within a Residential developer or regional contractor.
