THE ROLE OF A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
The Maintenance Engineer is required to be proactive in attending to breakdowns, whilst also getting involved in PPM and project tasks, including CI and new installations. You will be working on various machines including printing machines, packing machines, cutting machines, rollers and conveyors. The role is Electrically Biased and will involve working to 3 phase on motors, invertors, drives and the engineer also needs to have PLC Fault Finding skills.
- PLC Fault finding
The ideal maintenance engineer must have completed an apprenticeship and hold a suitable electrical engineering qualification (min NVQ level 3). The engineer must also have experience within a manufacturing environment and be experienced in attending to breakdowns. The ability to PLC fault find is a necessity but any additional modifying or programming experience is very beneficial.
