My client can offer you the chance to work with a team of incredibly bright engineers who last year designed (from concept) a Stem Cell Automation machine that converts cells from a persons liver into stem cells that can then be used to grow new organs or replace nerves that will allow people to walk again. There was allot of incredibly complex embedded and application level Software involved in this project and this was just one of the many diverse projects they completed last year.
They are a global industry leader in the design, development and manufacture of cutting edge electronics technology for a range of international customers covering medical, industrial, communication and defence products. They are investing heavily into the UK, both R&D and manufacturing and are looking for an Graduate Software Development Engineer based in Scotland's central belt just outside Edinburgh, to be involved in innovative end-to-end solutions for a range of bespoke medical and aerospace customers.
The European flagship R&D facility is commutable from Edinburgh, Livingston, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glasgow. They also offer relocation assistance for people in the UK and have a very diverse team from all corners of the globe (it is worth mentioning they can only sponsor your visa if you are already in the UK on a Tier 2 sponsored visa. Please do not apply if you are outside of the UK and require sponsorship).
Key skills required for the Graduate Software Development Engineer are:
* Experience in real-time software development
