Senior or Principal Development Engineer. A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Engineer to join our clients engineering development team.|
Reporting to the Development Manager the successful applicant will join and help lead a hard working dynamic team, focusing on the exciting and rapidly expanding range of products with a particular focus on new innovation.
Ideally the successful candidate will be a degree educated engineer with extensive experience within machine development in the area of Off Highway Vehicles or construction vehicles.
To implement new and fresh ideas to help develop and improve the current excavator test and validation process from concept to production.
Develop load and duty cycle information that accurately represents machine usage.
Coordination of development test plans and the daily workload throughout the development process, right through to engineering sign off and in to production.
Control of documentation and effective traceability of information within the machine technical construction file (TCF).
Proof reading and Issuing of test and development reports.
Ensuring product conformance and ensuring we are up to speed with the very latest internal standards and the machinery directive.
Technical support for service and production departments.
Aside from these responsibilities we are looking for someone with flexible, hands on approach with a hunger for product knowledge.
The successful applicant will be a well organised, dedicated team player who is able to drive the development plan and deliver on time.
