Training Manager - Depot Operations & Maintenance|
Salary dependent upon experience
ATA Recruitment is working exclusively with the UK's leading provider of Rolling Stock services to recruit a Training Manager to take responsibility for the management and development of the depot team's training and competence.
As Training Manager you will be responsible for developing the operational and technical competencies of the depot organisation, incorporating;
Technical product training
As budget holder for training you will be responsible for undertaking training needs analysis for the depot team and identifying where 3rd party training support is required and sourcing this accordingly
You will manage and develop all training materials to ensure it is fit for purpose and compliant with industry standards.
Being a management role you will also lead a small training team.
You will have demonstrable experience in a depot maintenance environment, being familiar with modern rolling stock and service delivery requirements for the modern railway. With experience as an engineer / technician, you will be qualified to a minimum of ONC or apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline
You will be experienced in delivering safety and technical training and hold appropriate training qualifications that demonstrate your competence (TAQA, AET and Certificate in Management).
Your experience will include producing training material for a wide audience and range of capabilities for technical and safety critical competencies.
