Electrical Project Engineer|
The client are an independent, UK, manufacturer based in the North West. Easily commutable along the M6, M62 and M58
Having been established for over 30 years, they are an industry leader in the manufacturing and services across a vast range of industry sectors, including the clean/drinking and waste-water industries.
They have experienced extensive growth over the last decade and now have approximately 55 staff and have achieved 25% year on year growth. The engineering team are based in a purpose built manufacturing facility. The variety of projects, growth of the business and technical capabilities of the team mean that this is an exciting environment to work in, where contractors have happily worked and returned back to the team
Electrical Project Engineer
Due to the continued increase in projects for the municipal/drinking water sector there is requirement for a contract Electrical Project Engineer.
The Project Engineer will split the time evenly across technical engineering and project management.
This will be primarily in the Clean/Drinking Water and previous experience in that environment will be ideal. The projects will typically be in the region of £40k-£400k and financial aspects of the project will have to be maintained.
* Providing electrical designs, knowledge and support for the project team - AutoCAD
* Electrical control panel layout designs, drawing & schematics, cable schedules and BOM's
* Producing the required documentation for the project (FDS, Manuals, Control Philosophies etc)
* Project Management / Documentation / Budgets / Schedules
* Excellent communication, organisation and time management
* Strong understanding of commercial contracts (NEC and similar)
* Experience from the Water industry / Manufacturing into Water Industry
The Electrical Project Engineer should have HND/Degree will industry experience, ideally with relevant working experience.
The Electrical Project Engineer will need to have a strong understanding of Control Systems and how they function.
Rate: - Negotiable
Duration: - 6 Months - good possibility to extend past 1 year
