The Role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (ONLY A 4 DAY WEEK - DAYS):
In your role as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer you will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical works consisting of the planned and reactive maintenance of the factory machinery, including packaging machines, sealing machines, metal detectors, weighing machines and conveyors. Working to 3 phase electrically is a must. Mechanically, experience with pneumatics and hydraulics are required. Flexibility regarding shifts and overtime will make a candidate stand out.
You will need to be multi-skilled and have a relevant electrical qualification. The successful candidate will have previous experience within either a food, FMCG; packaging or other manufacturing environment (this is a necessity). The ideal candidate will need to be able to read ladder logic on PLC's (preferably Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley). They will come across various challenges along the way, so motivating themselves and other colleagues is a skill that is needed. The passion and ambitions to work alone, as well as in a team, is a key part to the team ethic within this thriving environment.
