The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
You will need to be a skilled engineer with experience in either Food, Pharmaceutical or any other manufacturing environment. In your role as a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical works consisting of the planned and reactive maintenance of the factory machinery. Working to 3phase electrically is a must. Mechanically, experience with pneumatics and hydraulics are required. You will also be required to conduct maintenance on the site utilities and facilities equipment.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG would be a massive bonus) and hold a relevant qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering. The enthusiasm and desire to work alone, as well as in a team, is a key part to the team ethic within this thriving environment. Patience, willingness and teamwork are important for the development of each engineer to join this business. Knowledge of PLC's will benefit the successful candidate as fault finding on Siemens and Allen Bradley is needed.
