Planning Director (Town / Shopping Centre)
£70,000 - £80,000 + Full benefits package (Approx package negotiable depending on experience)
Penguin are pleased to be working with a recognised leading multi-disciplinary Consultancy in London who are looking to recruit a Planning Director to join the existing large and successful planning team in central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning, vibrant and progressive consultancy in a senior position with excellent progression and continued development opportunities (Senior Director Positions available and achieved on Merit).
The role purpose is to work as an integral part of the London planning team covering high profile and complex planning projects across London & the South East. Our client offers work across a broad spectrum of projects and provides a wide range of planning services including;
-Planning Applications and Project Management
-Review of existing land and property portfolios to identify opportunities
-Planning appraisals of development potential
-Advice on planning obligations and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
-Development plan monitoring
-Retail and leisure impact / capacity studies
-Environmental Impact Assessment
You will work with a number of experienced and talented Directors who will assist you in reaching your career goals.
The ideal candidate will be capable of acting strategically building strong relationships and be a trusted advisor. This role would suit candidates with prior consultancy experience with small or large, new or established consultancies in London who is looking to step up to one of the largest planning teams in the Capital.
You will be have particular strength in the Town / Shopping Centre Planning sector, hold exceptional knowledge of the London planning system, naturally have strong written and communication skills and have demonstrable experience in winning new business and managing teams.
