Job Description: Project Civil Infrastructure Engineer/Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer - Manchester|
RGB Network are representing a Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Design consultancy firm who are currently looking to recruit a Civil Infrastructure Engineer/Senior Engineer to join their growing team based in Manchester.
The Civil Infrastructure Engineering consultancy firm continuously look to achieve inspiring and exacting solutions to make a difference to their clients that they provide to. So the firm is seeking to employ dedicated individuals who are capable of working in multi-disciplinary teams. The company adopts a responsible culture to promote their positive attitude towards the environment and ensure that this factor is central to their development solutions.
*To lead a team of engineers and support staff to manage projects through feasibility to construction.
*To prepare Programs, Tenders, Bids, Presentations and manage the design process from inception to completion.
*Act on behalf of Civil Engineering consultancy at Design Project meetings and to promote the services and skills of the practice including the negotiation and obtaining technical approvals/solutions
*To take responsibility at all levels and provide technical/commercial decisions and knowledge
*To provide detailed Highway & Drainage Design abilities.
*The use and application of AutOCAD, Microdrainage / WinDES design and PDS software
*The application and principles of Sustainable Drainage (SUDs)
*The preparation of site specific Flood Risk Assessments
The ideal candidate would need to be/working towards Chartered status. The Civil Infrastructure/Senior Engineer would be expected to ensure that commissions are completed to the standards that are set out in our Quality Management system. Also would need to be competent in assisting in the preparation of bids & proposals for new commissions and financial control of small to medium sized projects.
Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 based on experience.
The company operates an approved Training scheme through the Institute of Civil Engineers.
