Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
As the Quantity Surveyor you will be required to manage and plan all costs from the outset until completion, focusing on a £6,000,000 new build MOD development in Wiltshire. You will be based on site and be the only Quantity Surveyor working on the project so you will report straight into the Contracts Manager. Your responsibilities will include the full surveying cycle of Procurement, Valuations, cost value reconciliations, variations, the final accounts and also having clear communication for liaising with internal teams.
The opportunity has arisen to join a successful construction, development, maintenance and management group operating throughout southern England. The company come from a background of Housing, healthcare, education, defence and commercial new builds and refurbishments. Last year the company had a turnover of £225 million, this year they have opened a new office out of Basingstoke to move the companies development even further, which in turn has created this opportunity and will create future opportunities for progression within the business.
You will have commercial construction experience ideally in residential new build, working as a Quantity Surveyor you will need to have covered the full cycle of surveying to insure you will complete all tasks to the correct standard. MOD experience would be advantages but is not compulsory. For this role you must have a degree in either construction management or quantity surveying or a HNC or HND qualification.
