Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits
As the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor you will be required to work alongside the projects Senior Surveyor. You will be responsible for Subcontract procurement, Measurement of work in progress, Measurement & presentation of monthly valuations, Assisting in cost value reconciliation and Assisting in projected final account forecasting. You will be based in the head office with regular site visits taking place.
The opportunity has arisen to join a successful but expanding privately owned residential developer in Dorchester focusing on new build sustainable home developments. The company develop in access of 200 units per year and have planning in place for a further 1500 units. The company have a real focus on their development and over the past 13 years have had a continued growth leading to a £29 million turnover last year and with plans to keep progressing this opportunity has come available and will create future opportunities for progression within the business.
You will have commercial construction experience ideally in residential new build, working as an Intermediate or Trainee Quantity Surveyor looking into to take the next step in your career. You will have an understanding of the life cycle of surveying and be pro active when learning and developing your knowledge. You will have a BSc or HND (or equivalent) in quantity surveying. Ideally you will be qualified or working towards your CIOB or RICS accreditation and hold a relevant CSCS Card and full UK Driving License.
