We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager based in Loughborough, Leicestershire. Our Client's objective is to use their expertise and product knowledge to help their customers protect their workforce on a variety of sites. |
As the Product Manager you are responsible for the internal management of the contracts department and the warehouse. You will track, maintain and aim to increase gross profit margins for all projects.
In the role of the Product Manager you will liaise with the Senior contracts manager, Sales manager, Finance manager. Estimating manager and the Cad Design manager. You will report back to the managing Director.
To be Successful in the role of the Product Manager you will already have been in a similar role and you will need to be able to problem solve, understand customer related issues, and communicate solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Your Responsibility's and key duties are as follows :
*Internal management of all contracts.
*Manage the warehouse/ production staff, use task/reports as required.
*Customers point of contact for all site queries or information requests from
*Liaise directly with site managers and design managers to gather information
Prior to any contractors going to site.
*Book in all contracts with site and ensure competent fitting teams are
Available, range a suitable transport and book in.
*Oversee the contract pack for each contract. This must include a job sheet
Correct layout drawings with dimensions & a picking list without the costs
Attached. Provide picking lists for all contracts. Notify admin assist if any
Parts or equipment are required to complete the order.
*Agree additional changes to the layout drawings, brackets fixing details\
Heights & components are correct for the site conditions. Get the quotes &
Drawings redone if necessary & ensure any changes are in writing & that the
QS Signs for any extras or changes.
*Maintain the snags to below 5% of the total projects.
*Ensure all manufactured equipment is subject to strict quality procedures
Before being shipped to site.
*Keep a daily dairy of all work in progress and details and contact names of
Key personnel on each contract.
*Complete the job tracker daily, track the gross profit margin ,ensure
Daily and weekly targets are achieved.
*Hold weekly meeting with managing Director to review performance of
*Produce daily and weekly timesheets and reports as required.
*Obtain correct sign off sheets and associated paperwork for all contracts.
*Maintain stock levels and carry out the Monthly stock take.
*Chase through suppliers orders as required and check off their invoices with
The purchase orders at least weekly, send through to finance. This is

*Attend weekly sales meetings, hold your own internal meetings as required
And minute accordingly.
*Ensure the warehouse and grounds are kept clean and manage quality of
All incoming equipment and goods.
*Ensure any faulty incoming goods are segregated and return for credit or
*Monitor Health & Safety and Quality in the warehouse and work on site.
*Complete all the Operations & maintenance manuals.
*Ensure all invoices is up to date, sign off the sales each month with Finance.
*Hold regular meetings with accounts to resolve operational issues due to
Workmanship and re measurements on site.
*Any other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as
Directed by your manager.
