Our valued client an award winning long established Essex based Residential Home builder is wishing to appoint on a Permanent level Community Development Manager working within their Regeneration South Division.|
Liaison with local communities during design and development to
Assist in a positive response from planning authorities and local communities to achieve the best planning consent outcome
The promotion of a common vision for the future of the community before, during and post Regeneration activities
To create a valued identity of the company in the surrounding area
To assist in creating an enduring value for all parties through a sense of community and social inclusion
Building links with local groups and agencies
Developing and implementing strategies
Planning, attending and coordinating meetings and events
Encouraging participation in scheduled activities
Area M25 Corridor East and North London
To be considered for this Community Development Manager position you must possess the following skills and experience in either a Public or Private Sector position
Successful experience in a similar role within the area of construction and/or regeneration programme.
Assist Business Development Team on Community Issues during Bid and Tender submission stages.
A successful track record of working on construction/regeneration programmes within a framework of collaborative working with businesses/partners/members/citizens to ensure the objectives of the programmed are met.
Track record of effective people management.
Knowledge of relevant legislative policy and good practice guidelines and of emerging developments in practice in relation to construction/regeneration
Demonstrable understanding of the risks associated with regeneration/construction programmes and appropriate mitigation measures
Knowledge of the financial, legal and social environments, in which local authority operates.
Demonstrable understanding of the needs and challenges presented by communities.
A broad knowledge of public service delivery, both directly and through commissioning.
