NES GLOBAL TALENT now has an exciting new opportunity for a QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join our client, an Insulation Services company, based in Glasgow.|
With the business rapidly growing after winning several new Projects, this is a huge opportunity for a QUANTITY SURVEYOR who comes from a Construction background, to develop their career and progress within the business.
Initially reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the implementation of commercial and procurement management and reporting systems and procedures. There will be particular focus on procurement, risk minimisation, pricing of variations and day-to-day management of all contracts.
- Reviewing and processing sub-contract payments
- Re-measurement of sub-contract works for sub-contract valuations
- Producing quantities / schedules for procurement of sub-contract packages
- Preparation and issuing of sub-contract documentation to sub-contractors
- Preparation of project interim valuations
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Attending meetings as required
- Liaising with site personnel to obtain site records and reconciling against works claimed
- Valuation of variations in line with the Contract Conditions
- Negotiating variations with Client`s Commercial Team
- Keeping records and all documentation in line with company policies

- Knowledge/experience in completing tenders
