My client is looking to bring in an Electrical Contracts Manager on a full time basis.|
The client is one of the leading Civil Engineering/Utilities companies in the industry who operate nationwide covering projects in the private and public sector. This is a very exciting time for my client who have over 150 live sites covering Scotland and an enviable list of clients.
The role of the Electrical Contracts Manager is as follows:
You will be taking the overall responsibility for the management and delivery of project works, as agreed by management, clients, budget, time-scale and working on a number of projects in the private, public and housing sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maintain a high standard of customer service for all internal and external facing activities
•Organise and attend regular contract meetings.
•To comply with the company's Health & Safety policy.
•Undertake tasks as necessary to ensure the achievement of the project.
•Liaise with all stakeholders and contractors as required.
•Negotiate Statements of Work with clients and subcontractors.
•Responsible for the delivery of planned commitments to the client, ensuring agreed KPI's and service levels are being met.
•Manage supply chain ensuring that required levels of performance & KPI's are maintained.
•To review the equipment selected against the project specification; evaluate and raise the appropriate purchase order.
•Provide technical support and advice.
•Experience of working with DNO / ICP
•Cable laying and jointing experience
•Minimum of 5 years Supervising/Managing Electrical works
•CSCS / ECS / SHEA Electric or equivalent
•Full clean driving license
•Good communications skills- verbal and written
•Health and safety awareness
In return, our client is offering a flexible salary depending on experience, between £35,000- £40,000 + Car + Pension + Phone + Laptop + 28 days holiday
