This exciting consultancy is expanding and is looking for talented Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join an excellent team of engineers who strive for technical excellence in all of their designs. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be tasked with producing accurate technical designs on Mechanical Services pertaining to the built environment. You will work closely with the team to ensure that clients' needs and design requirements are effectively understood and implemented as well as being completed on time and in budget. You may be required to attend site and, as the role develops, you may also be required to client-face and assist in the development of junior members of the team. You will engage in a range of projects and ensure that all designs correlate with relevant UK regulations and standards.
The successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have excellent communication skills, a relevant academic background (ideally to degree level) and a number of years' design experience within a Building Services consultancy. You must be conversant in Hevacomp and IES / TAS (or equivalent dynamic thermal modelling software) as well as a good knowledge of relevant CAD software. You must have a working knowledge of UK regulations and standards as well as a dynamic, outgoing personality couple with a desire to progress within your discipline.
