Service Analyst - Permanent - Cambridge|
Service Analyst, BMS, MLA, Pathology Service Support Analyst - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire UK is required to carry out is and resolve incidents as directed on site from my client and to work on various Software products.
The candidate must have a BMS 1/2 level and be certified combined with a good knowledge of IT and be skilled in Windows environment, including servers, applications, networks a troubleshooting of analysers, preferably strong Customer Service having gained skills in a client environment background and it would be also highly beneficial if you had an Microsoft certification.
Service Analyst Knowledge and Skills:
-BMS status in the UK Health sector with 2-3 years pathology lab expertise
-Strong motivational skills - can deliver the tasks in difficult circumstances
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff
-High levels of commitment and ability to take action when necessary
-Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team
-High level of customer service and customer management skills
-Excellent decision making / problem solving skills
-Strong planning and organisational skills
-Flexible to changing demands
-Ability to implement and manage change
-IT Literate with a keen interest in pursuing a career in IT, good PC/network/database literacy
-Trouble shooting of analysers and diagnostic equipment
Ability to analyse and interpret specification documents
- Expertise of pathology LIMS, LIMS deployments
- Expertise of analyser interfacing
- Knowledge of Healthcare systems
Service Analyst Education and Expertise:
-Bachelor`s degree in a subject related to biomedical or computer science.
-Moderate expertise within an IT or software providers organisation is desirable
-Microsoft Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Software Engineer qualifications (or equivalent) or efforts towards such qualifications are desirable.
-Any equivalent combination of education and/or expertise providing the knowledge/skills/abilities listed above may be substituted.
-To work as a dedicated analyst to oversee the day to day operational management and system administration of the locally deployed solution.
-To carry out proactive and reactive based maintenance to satisfy the customer requirements.
-To work as a dedicated, single point of contact reviewing and resolving service incidents within Service Level
-To carry out project based to satisfy the customer and business requirements.
-To keep abreast of ongoing and future Laboratory regulations, working practices, products and technologies
Service Analyst Responsibilities:
-Contribute to the development of product Software
-To understand the Customers` short and long term strategies
-To be fully conversant with the core functionality of Pathology products
-To develop and maintain rapport with end users by displaying a detailed understanding of their IT environment
-To establish and maintain high levels of incident ownership
-To manage overall centralised incident, problem, change and risk logs for the customer
-To establish a quality working relationship
-To understand and operate the escalation procedure and manage and complete a schedule of technical updates
on all applications, database systems and supported hardware
-To manage and complete a schedule of technical testing on all supported hardware
-To oversee all changes to all applications or supported hardware for the assigned customer
- Maintain and update all quality documentation
- Participate in an on call rota
-To progress personal development
