Python Developer - Docker, containerisation - Bristol £45,000 - £60,000 + bonus + bens|
An immediate opportunity for a Python Developer with experience of developing solutions in Python and Docker (or other containerisation solution) for Linux platforms to join our high profile and growing client. A salary range of up to around £60,000 (+ bonus + benefits) is offered although this could be higher for the right applicant.

This role sits within the Bristol R&D team and so are really at the leading edge, pushing the capabilities and scope of their existing product range as well as coming up with fresh new ideas for the product range of tomorrow. This position has arisen due to a need to expand their R&D team which will involve further hiring activity in 2016/7 and will see the organisation more than doubling in size.
Applicants for these roles must be educated to degree level in a computing/mathematics/physics discipline and possess strong commercial skills in Python and developing software for Linux along with commercial experience in one or more of the following: Docker (or other containerisation technology), Openstack, virtualisation, software defined storage and/or networking. Additional experience of contributing to OpenSource projects would also be beneficial however not essential.
