In this job you will be...
Responsible for the collection, recording and retrieval of information. You will read source documents, verify the accuracy of the information, prepare reports and manage data storage and retrieval systems and process significant amounts of information. The majority of your work will take place on our server enabled computers.
Your training will...
Start with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment, covering: Object-oriented programming (OOP), SQL data modelling, Web and systems development, Event-driven programming.
You will gain City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in IT Systems & Principles and IT Professional Competence, as well as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) in software development fundamentals. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £40k in the IT sector.

Our client is looking for a determined individual who is motivated to achieve success in the workplace. With good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and basic Microsoft office skills. You will work as part of a team but must be able to work alone and using your initiative. You must be able to prioritise and manage your work load whilst maintaining an accurate eye for details. Good knowledge of computing, good aptitude for systems and software and an interest in mathematics to start an apprenticeship leading to degree level. You will be detail-oriented and able to concentrate for long periods of time and able to work according to schedule and communicate efficiently and effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
The candidate should ideally have 7 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
