In this role you will be...
- Dealing with a mixture of software development and testing but a core service we will be providing to our clients will involve test generation based upon web based services and tools
- Exposed to the full MS technology stack using SQL Server and (url removed) technologies
Starts with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment, covering: Object-oriented programming (OOP), SQL data modelling, Web and systems development, Event-driven programming.
You will gain City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in IT Systems & Principles and IT Professional Competence, as well as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) in software development fundamentals. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £40k in the IT sector.
Who should apply...
- Someone who knows how to use any of the following: (url removed), (url removed), C#.Net, WCF Web Services, Object Orientation and N Tiered Architecture would be ideal
-Someone who is willing to learn SQL Server 2008
-Someone who can use T-SQL, Table, Stored Procedure and Function design
-Someone with any IT qualifications / demonstrable skills will be considered
-Someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated and a fast learner
-Someone who can develop into a seasoned software engineer
- Someone with ideally 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
Other Important Information...
Daily working week is - Mon, Wed, Thu, Friday from 9am to 5:30pm (with one hour for lunch)
Also, training will be given in-house as required but external training might be an option as needs dictate
