Ruby Developer - Lead - Video Startup|
Lead Ruby Developer urgently required by an exciting startup disrupting the video management and analysis space. Their products are used by the marketing teams within many of the world's best know brands. They have now secured a huge new investment which will allow them to apply this technology to other sectors, hence the need for a new Lead Ruby Developer to join the team.
The successful Lead Ruby Developer will be working on adding new functionality to their products as part of their 5 man Ruby development team. They already have the ability to transcribe the audio of a video and are adding functionality to like facial recognition analysis as well. They have plans to begin building mobile applications soon. The Lead Ruby on Rails Developer will drive this team forward, ensure best practice and be involved in architectural and technology selection decision making.
The ideal Lead Ruby Developer for this role will have excellent skills building applications with Ruby on Rails in Agile environments. Bonus points if you have already used RSpec or have any front-end exposure. You could be a senior developer ready to step up into a Lead Developer position or already be leading a team elsewhere. The important thing is that you can lead and motivate a team and are used to things like code reviews, delegating work and improving processes.
