Technical Writer / Technical Author - London - £30,000 p/a|
A leading Global SaaS provider requires a Technical Author to support Global changes to their service management processes to support their on-going implementation of Salesforce for their global business. They are seeking a Technical Author to work with their digital management team and document all new global service management processes and procedures from initial incident, to diagnosis and resolution. This includes Standard Operating Procedures and Software Help and User Guides.
This will be quite a unique role for an experienced Technical Writer, Technical Author who wants to cross into a more business-based role. It means developing in-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM, getting this on paper and then getting away from the computer to perform training workshops in-line with your documentation. The role is very much a business facing position with a chance to utilise your technical writing skills in a multi-national company. Not only will you be documenting, but initiating change and collating feedback from stakeholders.
You'll need to know how to communicate effectively through different marketing mediums, delivering not only to stakeholders/sponsors internally, but externally too.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Significant experience as a writer or author proven to understand business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including composition/grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
A constant awareness of writing to an audience, keeping them engaged and interested in what they are reading
Proficiency in MS office suite
Exposure to Salesforce CRM would be great, but not essential
This is a great role for a Technical author, who wants a bit of variety in their work - no day will ever be the same!
