You will be working for...
A school based in the South Birmingham area with a friendly staff environment.
They are currently recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to work within their busy IT Function. There is a strong possibility of a full time role within the school at the end of the apprenticeship for the successful applicant.

In this job you will...
Set up equipment such as laptops, data projectors, interactive whiteboards, sound systems and other specialist IT systems
Maintain ICT installations, peripherals and software
Detect, diagnose and resolve basic computer, server and peripheral device faults
Follow a schedule of ICT maintenance activities across the school
Support data integrity within the school
Assist in the maintenance of the ICT inventory
Record ICT equipment loans
Replacement of consumables and monitoring usage in ICT areas
Keep error logs
Assist with the design and production of school documentation
Carry out tasks in accordance with Health and Safety policy

Our apprenticeships blend on-the-job experience, face-to-face workshops and online learning which will teach you a range of new skills including:
- Networking and Architecture
- Mobile and Operating System
- Cloud Services
- Coding and Logic
- Business Process
Apprenticeships and Vendor qualifications L3
Advanced Apprenticeship Infrastructure Technician Level 3 (equivalent to A- level educational level), MTA Networking Fundamentals, MTA Mobility and Devices Fundamentals, MTA Cloud Fundamentals, One Microsoft MOC on demanded course.

- Someone with any prior experience advantageous
- Someone with ideally 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
Other Important information:
Monday to Friday 36.5 hours per week
The successful applicant will undergo a full DBS check before commencing employment.
