Due to their continued growth and success there is now an opportunity for a Principal/Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Cheshire based team.
You will be responsible for the geotechnical support and design requirements across a portfolio of different projects, providing technical expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring Graduate and less experienced Geotechnical Engineers, checking and approval of all relevant documents, calculations and drawings as well as the preparation of quotations and project scopes for Director approval. The work will include desk and feasibility studies, interpretative reporting, geotechnical analysis and design of slopes, earthworks, foundations and retaining structures.
The successful candidate will be an Engineer with a Master's degree in Geotechnical engineering or other closely related subject accredited from an approved establishment and ideally you will be Chartered or near to achieving chartered status. With around 5 years' experience of working in a similar role, you should be a good problem solver and effective communicator who possesses flexibility and initiative and you must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport
Successful applicants will have experience of working in the water, energy and resources sectors.
A full UK driving licence is also a prerequisite for the role
