A rare opportunity for an Asset Engineer working for the National Grid working from their Warwick base. Working within the Asset Strategy Team, looking after the health and performance of the Gas Transmission system and demonstrating market leading asset management practice.|
You will be required to develop asset management strategies and investment plans for the UK's Gas transmission network.
Your key responsibilities will be to analyse and understand the condition, performance and whole life costs above and below ground.
Develop asset management strategies.
Develop Risk based methods to asses the investment needs across the gas network.
Develop strategic asset investment plans.
Preparation and presentation of business cases.
Develop clear and timely scopes of work to the delivery teams.
Monitor delivery v investment plans
The ideal candidate will have relevant HND qualifications in an engineering discipline or experience with an asset management background within utilities sector or large scale infrastructure provider.
The role will require some travel to other locations within the UK
Working knowledge of PAS55/ISO55000
Asset Management Experience within the Utility sector
Knowledge of enterprise asset management systems
Effective Management skills
