Senior Service Engineer - UK Wide

Our chosen business partner is experiencing a steady period of growth and is now looking at adding two Electrical Biased Service Engineers to their team. The main role will be to carry out service and breakdown repairs at customer sites. This role will require working away from home during the week.

Key Responsibilities;

Professional representation of our client.
Ensuring personal health and safety at all times
Undertake services on CNC equipment to our clients Standard Procedures
Undertake CNC Control System, drive optimisation and PLC projects. (Electrical)
Undertake machine geometry and alignment projects. (Mechanical)
Effective use of laser and ball-bar equipment
CNC Machine installation and commissioning
Carry out maintenance and PPM's at customer sites
CNC Machine breakdown analysis and repair
Prepare technical reports including CNC machine assessments
Generate service reports and supplementary escalation reports
Support office staff with technical information and spare part identification
Support service department other engineers
Provide training to customers and other engineers
Responsible regulation of overtime, travel and overnight stays.
Submit jobsheets and expenses in a timely manner.
Be available for customer breakdowns including after hours and weekends.
Arrive at customer site in appropriate approved Workwear.
Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
Keep all provided equipment (including company vehicle) in a well maintained condition. Reporting any breakages, loss, etc to the appropriate department.
Ensure correct paperwork and site equipment is in place before commencing with work.
Ensure lock off systems are in place and used correctly.
Be aware of any additional/future work available at customer site and report to service manager.
Report any delays due to unforeseen circumstances to Service manager.
Key Requirements;

Apprentice/HNC/HND Engineering qualification
2 - 10 years Machine Tool Service experience
A willing to work overtime and able to live away during the week
