Are you a Fabricator from a manufacturing background looking to work on state of the art, high performance motorsport & Aerospace components that are used all around the world?
This is an ideal role for a Fabricator, looking to hit the ground running in a contract position for one of the UK's most innovative automotive & aerospace manufacturers.
With over 30 years proven experience across both the Automotive & Aerospace sectors, my client specialise in design, manufacture and distribution of a whole host of specialist components used within motor racing, high performance cars and aerospace - these include chassis components and engine & drive systems
As an internationally recognised manufacturing company, the main purpose of your role as the TIG welder, will be to assist in development and manufacturing of lightweight components designed to operate under extreme conditions.
*Ensuring that all fixtures and all related parts are kept in accordance with the laid down procedure
*Reading & working off manufacturing drawing and understanding of dimensioning and tolerances.
*Occasionally welding in a vacuum chamber
*Measuring finished components using typical manual inspection tools
*Previous experience working with Aluminium
*Previous experience within a Fabrication environment (preferably low volume / high cost)
*Competent in all sheet metal forming
