As Business Improvement Manager reporting directly to our National Engineering Manager, you'll provide a specialist support service to help deliver our vision for Concrete Products within the UK group. Principally this will involve using standardised safety methodology and applying best practice to drive robust operational improvements across the division. Additionally, you'll provide project management support to deliver both management and engineering insight for our major projects programme. Key accountabilities of the Business Improvement Manager include:
• providing practical support to implement a Zero Harm culture
• ensuring consistency regarding Risk Assessments and best practise across all sites nationally
• embedding change management through leadership and stakeholder engagement
• supporting operational management to achieve right-first-time project delivery.

A highly experienced manufacturing professional with a clear capacity for structured, innovative thinking, you have a proven track record of delivering sustained improvement within project management/engineering, underpinned by a solid grasp of safety, cost management and value streams. An inspirational leader with superb communication and influencing skills, you're also committed to continuous improvement (CI). Together with an understanding of plant maintenance systems and CI methodology, you have experience of creating risk assessment, managing suppliers and contractors and bring real attention to detail in cost analysis. Your other attributes as a Business Improvement Manager include:
