Our well-established client based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer / Technician to add to their successful company.|
As a Manufacturing Engineer / Technician you will mainly be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Manufacturing, test and validation of our client's products
Deliver allocated manufacturing projects on-time and to-specification
To assemble, build and test machines to agreed schedule
To work on multiple manufacturing projects as required
To maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all work in formats required
Three-phase, single-phase and low voltage wiring
Panel wiring experience
Ability to read, understand, build to, and fault-find, using wiring schematics and circuit diagrams
Ability to read, understand, build to, and modify, using mechanical drawings, instructions, and BOMs
Ultimately - to test, fault-find, prove & validate electrical automation and mechanical functionality
Electrical safety testing experience (advantage)
Familiarity with IT: LAN/WAN/IP Configurations (advantage)
Vacuum technology (advantage)
Ability to work to agreed project programme, i.e. project deliverables on time
Microsoft Office (working knowledge of Excel and Word)
Ability in building relationships and communicating at all levels
Team player and able to work on own initiative
Professional and positive outlook to all tasks
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, particularly for electro-mechanical assemblies
Engineering HNC or above
Appropriate City and Guilds qualification
Specialist projects as agreed with the line Manager to support the business requirements of the organisation
In addition, the Manufacturing Technician/Engineer will carry out any other reasonable duties requested
