Refrigeration Engineer - to cover PE postcode - OTE £45k plus van, benefits.|
Refrigeration Engineers required. Our client is a specialist air conditioning and refrigeration company with a nationwide coverage and due to contract awards are looking to expand the team in the PE postcode area.
As the refrigeration engineer you will be performing planned and reactive service works; repairing small to medium sized commercial refrigeration equipment, such as refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers. Customers and sites are within the commercial and retail sector; such as Pubs, clubs, shops, Restaurant, and Hotels.
Our client has service engineers placed strategically across the UK and so each engineer has a core area to look after.
It is expected that the Refrigeration Service Engineer will have proven experience within the refrigeration industry on small to medium sized commercial refrigeration units.
It is also expected that the Refrigeration Engineer will hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
Reactive service and maintenance of small to medium sized commercial refrigeration systems for customers within the retail and hospitality sector. To ensure good time keeping, administration of jobs and customer service. The ability to work interdependently, efficiently and to interact with your team effectively of fellow engineers and office staff.
Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers.
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Safe Handling of Refrigerants or F-Gas
It would be advantageous to applicants possessing knowledge of larger refrigeration systems and or air conditioning systems. Experience in the leisure / hospitality / retail sector would also be advantageous.
Basic salary between £28 - £32k and with overtime and Door to Door payments Engineers can earn well in excess of £40 to £50k. This includes overtime and on call and door to door payments.
