There is a reactive business development aspect to the role, in which you will act as the main contact for all Laundry enquires and contracts, proactively identifying and developing valuable new contacts as well as maintaining existing account relationships with UK laundries, preparing associated quotations based on Sales information obtained and costing and delivering quotations as required. You will additionally ensure that quotations progress through the Company smoothly, overseeing the preparation of quotations based on Sales information (using Word and Excel) and related layout drawings, whilst performing site visits to assist the Sales team where required and reviewing client contract documents, costings and actual solution viability of the client specification and company capability to deliver before submission.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate a relevant engineering degree (or proven experience within a similar environment) and at least 5 years' experience of working within the automation and materials handling sector.
