The Company: Our Client manufactures and sells a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products. They are a global medical technology company that serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public.
The Role: Employed as a Moulding Technology Manager, your main duties will capacity deployment, including downstream supplier technical support if component/product manufacturing is (partly) outsourced. You will lead a team of Engineers and Technicians, responsible for planning of technical facilities, defining in conjunction with Plant Management industrial strategies to implement production capacity requirements in line with product demand projections, from process technology selection, process user specification requirements (URS), equipment purchase, design reviews, commissioning, process validation and successful handover to the respective manufacturing team. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting vendor selection and downstream technical support for outsourced component manufacture.
The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:
• Degree in Process Engineering or relevant technical discipline / or be a Time Served Engineer with Relevant Experience
• 3 Years Process Engineering experience in Manufacturing Industry
• Proven track record in Project Management and meeting deliverables
You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
