Position: Mould Maintenance Process Engineer

The Company: Our Client manufactures and sells a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products. They are a global medical technology company that serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public.

The Role: Employed as a Mould Maintenance Process Engineer it will be your responsibility to Plan, coordinate and carry out projects in moulding manufacturing. Validate new and existing moulds and auxiliary equipment by establishing process parameters, implementing PM plans, training production associates and supporting the establishment of required materials and operations documents. You will also Support established processes by working with operations personnel to diagnose issues that cannot be solved by using basic troubleshooting techniques. Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce part costs by improving productivity and reducing scrap.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

• A HND / Degree in Engineering / or similar or be a Time Served with relevant experience
• Injection moulding experience in a medium to high volume company
• Knowledge of Setting machines & optimising processes / Process validation experience / SPC system desired but not essential

You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
