MSS Recruitment are working with a global engineering consultancy who are looking to grow their Major Project Services Team in London.|
The are looking for a candidate who has Property Sector experience who is hands on and a proactive design project leader.
You must achieve the following to be consider for this role...
■ Qualifications - Degree educated and a chartered member of a relevant professional body;
■ Experience - Have appropriate and relevant post-graduate experience working on projects of a construction value greater than £100 million;
■ Profession - Ideally come from an architectural or engineering background with experience of design and project management on multi-discipline project and/or contract administration;
■ Location - London based but willing to work within the UK and internationally on short to medium secondments as the business requires.

■ Communication - Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. To construct and communicate ideas in a persuasive manner;

■ Project Management - Regardless of the individual project role, candidates should understand and be experienced in applying the principles and processes of project management as commonly expressed by APM, Prince2 etc.
■ Problem Solving - Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify, classify and find solutions to problems.
■ Manage risks & opportunities - Candidates should understand how to capture and manage risks and opportunities, develop mitigation measures to ensure risks are minimised and opportunities are maximised.
■ Commercially minded - Candidates should understand business principles and be able to demonstrate how they have applied this to the management of projects.
■ Adaptive - Candidates should be able to adapt their leadership approach to get the best out of individuals and organisations.
■ Willingness to learn -Demonstrate being open minded with the willingness to learn and explore new ideas outside their own experience and adapt these to their own situation.
