Mould Maintenance Process Engineer|

Plan, coordinate and carry out projects in moulding manufacturing.
Validate new and existing moulds and auxiliary equipment by establishing process parameters, implementing PM plans, training production associates and supporting the establishment of required materials and operations documents.
Support established processes by working with operations personnel to diagnose issues that cannot be solved by using basic troubleshooting techniques.
Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce part costs by improving productivity and reducing scrap.
Plan, implement and coordinate improvements to existing moulding equipment and processes.
Understand and apply decoupled/systematic moulding techniques in establishing new and existing processes and general troubleshooting.
Support daily production by identifying chronic issues and problems that cannot be resolved by production associates.
Implement and coordinate all changes to existing moulding processes by writing and approving required documentation.
Work with quality engineering personnel to improve existing procedures and measurement methods.
Function as a leader or team member on cross-functional teams to address assembly/customer quality issues.
Support continuous improvement activities by participating on CI teams, blitzes, 5S teams, Lean and 6 Sigma initiatives.
Identify and drive Cost Improvement Projects (CIP's) to completion.
Support the implementation of new processes and auxiliary equipment to the moulding production area.
Write protocols for new and modified processes by coordinating acceptance criteria with the moulding quality engineer and assembly engineering as required.

Independent and team working.
Off-site travel may be required.
Injection moulding experience in a medium to high volume company
Setting machines & optimising processes
Process validation experience
Project Management experience
Design of experiment knowledge
Comfortable with GMP and regulatory requirements
Degree qualified in engineering, materials science or technology
Specialist injection moulding training
Six Sigma qualification would be advantage
