Job Overview: Our client, a technical injection moulding manufacturer, have retained our services to appoint a Technical Toolmaker / Toolroom Supervisor. |
They are ideally looking for experienced Toolmaker / Toolroom Supervisor with strong skills in tool maintenance, modifications, development and polishing. As a Toolmaker / Toolroom Supervisor you will be highly proficient with using bench tools & lathes & milling machines and ideally experience of supervising / managing a small team of engineers. You will have prior experience of working within a mould tooling / injection moulding engineering and have a strong background in maintenance.
• Manage a team of toolmakers to ensure efficient operation of the department
• Repair, modify and maintain existing injection mould tools
• Report on potential issues & solutions
• Review existing methods and processes to improve productivity
• Lead Continuous Improvement activities
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills are a must and you will be expected to have the initiative and drive to create and improve systems to benefit the team and wider business.
