NPDI Project Manager
My client is a leading manufacturer in the Worcestershire area and they are seeking an NPDI Project Manager to join their growing workforce.

To lead and manage the New Product Development Introduction (NPDI). Ensuring that projects are coordinated through all functions of the business and are met on time, using safe systems of work and within budget.

NPDI Project Manager
Key accountabilities include:
• Defining project scope and objectives, develops detailed work packages, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Aligning teams to ensure the delivery of projects, within the scope of the HSE policy
• Contributing to developing the commercial relationship with customers and supplier to ensure delivery of products and services meets the specific requirements of the business
• Ensuring accurate, timely and professional communication to the customer(s)
• Conduct project meetings and have responsibility for project tracking and analysis
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
• Manages the integration of 3rd party tasks, tracks and reviews deliverables
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team giving ownership and leadership
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems to deliver.
• Ensuring project alignment to the overall business strategy

NPDI Project Manager
Key experiences
• Experience leading technical & business change projects within a manufacturing organisation.
• Extensive experience in a Project management role where they can demonstrate management of the full project lifecycle and a successful track record of delivery based on their own project management skills.
• Operating at varying levels within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Quality focus on delivery.
• Budget responsibility
• Management and development of people
• Experience in the Industrial Gas Turbine industry would be an advantage

NPDI Project Manager
Health and Safety duties and Responsibilities
• Assist effective implementation of Health Safety Environmental (HSE) management systems within any Business Improvement; Continuous Improvement and Special Project activities
• Support the health and safety & environmental policy implementation, objectives, targets and management programmes.
• Ensure that any procurement of new plant, equipment, process or materials supplied meet all legal obligations and internal standards.
• Liaise with the health and safety & environmental team for specific guidance on variation the current and existing standard elements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO (Apply online only) standards and certification.
• Ensure that that all associated HSE documentation including risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements, change management documentation (PESHR) and mandatory, statutory records are carried out where required.
• Ensure that all contracts and sub-contractors are proven competent and capable of carrying out their tasks safely using prescribed Safe Systems of Work identified through the use of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
