Our client are a leading International Facilities Management Group who are looking to recruit a Sustainability Manager to work from their busy offices in London

As Sustainability Manager covering both Hard & Soft services you will need previous experience undertaking waste management, energy management and CSR responsibilities together with experience of writing and implementing policy

Responsibilities will include:

Development and application of best energy management practices and processes as related to high performance facilities including commissioning, energy and facilities management services

Good understanding of systems such as HVAC, DDC Controls, Lighting and Fire/Life Safety Systems is required

Keeping up to date and applying legislation and environmental standards and ensuring systems and processes comply

Monitoring new sustainable technologies or applications and developing performance indicators

Represent the company in a professional manner and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction for all work performed

Planning strategy and documentation - Energy Strategies and Sustainability statements, Environmental assessments

Complete design, specification and calculations analysis as related to equipment/building system performance

Preparing detailed schedules of work, feasibility studies and cost estimates

Providing consultancy on the health impacts of building materials and sustainability design management

You will be expected to proactively participate in project management, financial management business development activities & other types of projects related to sustainability in the built environment

Experience of presenting technical information in a coherent and accessible way to a non-technical audience

You will report directly to the Managing Director

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week


You must possess an Energy / Sustainability / Building Services / Engineering related degree with at least 4 years' experience working within an energy design environment

BREEAM assessor


Chartered Engineer (CEng) status would be advantageous
