With ambitious growth plans they are working with us to identify for their centre of excellence division across Energy & Water a leader who has knowledge of utility network operations and control rooms/system operations.
As the leader you will take full responsibility for driving revenue growth, the P&L, Customer Satisfaction, and Employee Satisfaction. You will be accountable for leveraging existing Customer relationships and acquiring new customers across the Power, Water and Gas sector. The leader will be accountable for delivering the roadmap to knowledge leadership in the chosen area, and will drive industry recognition through active representation in Industry, customer and partner forums, and academia. You will also be able to for forge enduring partnerships and associations with players in the industry to build a rounded capability.
This role requires significant drive and ambition, with significant growth plans this role will play a key part in their success. Attitude and experience of developing long term relationships is essential.
To head this division, you must have previous control room knowledge as well as experience within System Control room operations across Power/Water/Gas. You will have worked within an engineering capability across Utilities (power distribution, Water).
Full understanding of the processes, systems (SCADA, Telemetry, Field Instrumentation) and data that drive the transportation/transmission/distribution of Power/Water/Gas, including regulatory drivers, and recent developments such as proliferation of distributed generation, smart networks and impacts thereof.
Your experience will have ideally be both within a Utility, and a Solutions Provider. International experience would be a plus to leverage benchmarks and to have worked across multiple domains is ideal.
This is a national role and will involve travelling to client sites not only for delivery but also business development.
