Principal Design Engineer - Hydraulics. Working on construction equipment. |
This is your chance to lead major design and development projects focused on hydraulic sub-systems for mobile construction equipment.
You'll take each project from concept to manufacture, managing budgets and schedules.
You could be working from an engineering brief or arrangement models.
Either way, you'll promote cost reduction and quality improvement, while encouraging innovation.
In this senior role, you'll be expected to complete Product Improvement change notes and liaise with Engineers in other countries such as Brazil, China and India.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer, you can carry out analysis, calculations and hydraulic circuit design using tools such as Automation Studio.
You can also handle test procedures, rig operation and test equipment.
With knowledge of CAD, engineering sign-off procedures, and quality and manufacturing functions too, you'll be an experienced professional with proven project management skills.
Your technical expertise comes with excellent people skills.
You can chair meetings, present to small groups and represent the business. You're also able to support and influence colleagues, making valuable contributions to product development strategy and system discussions.
