Job Overview: Further to a successful campaign of business growth, we are working closely with one of our injection moulding manufacturing partners to appoint a Process Engineer (Tooling). EXPIRES 26/09/16|
The role of Process Engineer requires a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a plastics injection moulding manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the trialling, testing and process optimization on all new injection mould tooling, following through from the first test shot to final sign off. In addition, the Process Engineer will liaise with toolmakers and tool designers to resolve moulding issues quickly and effectively. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude when resolving difficult moulding problems, and be able to work well consistently throughout a busy schedule.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Trialling all new small to medium size tooling right through from the first test shot to final sign off, producing reports for each trial
• Using injection moulding machines in a dedicated tool try out area
• Liaising with toolmakers and tool designers to resolve moulding issues
• Produce all samples, setting data and documentation to hand over to production
• Seek out and trial the latest technologies and techniques to ensure the best possible manufacturing methods are being used
